More "Blue Hawaii". At right, this local collectors item poster features Elvis when he was out in Hawaii in 1961 to also raise money to build the Arizona Memorial at Pearl   Harbor, dedicated to the sailors who lost their lives on December 7, 1941. The sold out concert was held at Bloch Arena, March 25, 1961 and raised over $64,000 (then a lot of money). Elvis was pretty much an "adopted son" in Hawaii after his string of hit Island-based movies.
